Batchart is a rapper, social activist, and one of the most prominent urban music artists in Cabo Verde. His first solo album, “WIKILEAKS”, scored him a Cabo Verde Music Award in the Best Rap category in 2012. He has also won a Best Artist on Stage Award (CVMA 2013) and Social Action Award (CVMA 2013). He is an artist who is strongly engaged in social causes.

Seu primeiro álbum solo intitulado WikiLeaks, marcou o cenário da música cabo-verdiana e prêmios de melhor música RAP 2012, melhor artista no palco 2013 e  Ação Social Award 2013 nos Prémios CVMA (Cabo Verde Music Awards). Ele é um artista fortemente engajado em causas sociais.
